Rescue teams comprising civil defense workers, police officers, and Red Cross volunteers recovered eight family members trapped beneath rubble after an airstrike hit Maghazi camp in central Gaza. As the ceasefire began, authorities have retrieved 582 bodies while more then 9,500 Palestinians remain unaccounted for beneath collapsed buildings scattered throughout devastated neighborhoods.

The situation worsened Sunday night when 20-year-old law student Baraa Khairi Ali Maali was fatally shot during clashes triggered after settlers attacked homes on Deir Jarir village outskirts north of Ramallah. officials reported troops entered ostensibly protecting settlers but opened fire on protesting villagers resulting in Maali’s death shortly after hospital admission due to chest wounds sustained during confrontation.
