Israel’s Suspension of Humanitarian Organisations Intensifies Gaza’s Crisis

Israel has halted the operations of more than 35 humanitarian organisations, including Doctors Without Borders (MSF), citing their failure to meet newly introduced regulations that govern aid activities in the Gaza Strip. The suspension takes effect this Thursday for groups that did not comply with these updated disclosure requirements. Doctors Without Borders is a cornerstone of Gaza’s healthcare system-supporting approximately 20% of hospital beds and assisting in one-third of all births within the territory. MSF firmly denies Israeli claims accusing some staff members of collaborating with hamas militants.
