Epic Games and Samsung Settle Antitrust Dispute
Epic Games, the developer behind Fortnite, has officially resolved its antitrust lawsuit against Samsung, according to recent court filings. The dispute began last year when Epic accused Samsung of working with Google to block alternative app stores from being pre-installed on Samsung smartphones.

The lawsuit focused on a feature called “Auto Blocker” implemented by Samsung,which prevented users from installing apps outside of the Google Play Store and Samsung Galaxy Store. Epic argued this was a calculated effort to limit competition in app distribution channels.
At the time, Google rejected these claims as baseless, stressing that Android device manufacturers have the right to enforce security measures for their users. Likewise, Samsung pledged a strong defense against what it labeled as unfounded allegations.
Resolution and Official Remarks
