The original Series A round was announced at $350 million about a year ago but quickly grew to $415 million due to strong investor demand. Recently, Apptronik secured an additional $520 million from both existing investors like Google, Mercedes-benz, and B Capital as well as new participants joining this extended round.

Despite raising substantial funds during this extended phase, Apptronik remains in early development stages and was not actively pursuing new financing rounds. A major driver behind Apptronik’s momentum is its strategic partnerships with Google DeepMind alongside logistics leader GXO and automotive giant Mercedes-Benz. together they are advancing embodied AI systems-robots capable of perceiving their surroundings and making autonomous decisions beyond simple pre-programmed instructions.
