A spokesperson from Deutsche Telekom clarified that after hearing “Hey Magenta,” the assistant listens only briefly to fulfill the immediate request before deactivating until reactivated again later during the call. While other platforms like Apple’s iOS Live Translation or Google Pixel’s Voice Translate offer similar functionalities, what sets this solution apart is its independence from specific devices combined with fluid integration directly within calls.
