Netflix Strikes Gold with ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ Toy Deals Partnering with Mattel and Hasbro!

Netflix Amplifies “KPop Demon Hunters” Universe with Major Toy Industry Collaborations

The animated hit “KPop Demon Hunters”, which debuted on Netflix in june, has swiftly become the platform’s most-streamed film ever, surpassing 325 million views worldwide. This phenomenal achievement led Netflix to re-release the movie in theaters twice-first during a special two-day event in August and again for a Halloween engagement.

Collaborations with Top toy Brands to Expand Franchise Reach

Riding the wave of its immense popularity, Netflix has partnered with renowned toy manufacturers Hasbro and Mattel. These alliances are designed to introduce an extensive lineup of merchandise inspired by the film’s dynamic characters and themes.

A Wide Range of Products from Mattel and Hasbro

Mattel is set to produce dolls, action figures, playsets, and accessories that vividly capture the essence of HUNTR/X-the fictional K-pop group featuring Rumi,Mira, and Zoey. Collectors can already pre-order a special three-pack showcasing these fan-favorite characters.

Hasbro’s contribution includes plush toys, interactive electronic devices, roleplay items, as well as board games. Their initial launch features a unique edition of Monopoly Deal themed around “KPop Demon Hunters.”

Diverse Merchandise Arriving in Stores Spring 2026

The combined efforts from both companies will offer some overlapping product categories but ultimately deliver fans an expansive variety of premium collectibles. All merchandise is scheduled for retail availability beginning spring 2026.

“This groundbreaking partnership between Netflix, Mattel, and Hasbro allows fans unprecedented access to high-quality dolls, games, and collectibles they have passionately requested across social platforms,” stated Marian Lee, chief marketing officer at Netflix.

The Broader Cultural Meaning of “KPop Demon Hunters”

This franchise highlights how streaming services are transforming entertainment by merging digital storytelling with physical fan engagement. Much like how series such as “Stranger Things” have fueled toy sales exceeding $300 million annually worldwide-the fusion of pop culture phenomena into tangible products remains highly lucrative.

The global surge in K-pop adds another dimension; recent IFPI data reveals that K-pop represented nearly 10% of total global music revenue in 2023 alone. By combining this cultural momentum with compelling animation narratives-and now collectible merchandise-Netflix is effectively bridging music fandoms with collectors on an international scale.
