A New Milestone in Cloud Computing Infrastructure
On the cusp of SpaceX’s highly awaited public offering, the aerospace and tech powerhouse has forged a landmark deal with Google. This collaboration is set to generate nearly $920 million each month by providing Google with vast AI compute resources, representing one of the most ample infrastructure agreements in recent memory.
Complete terms: GPU Allocation and Contract Duration
The agreement, effective from October through June 2029, commits Google to utilize approximately 110,000 Nvidia GPUs along with cpus, memory units, and other hardware housed within SpaceX’s data centers. The contract features a gradual increase in capacity until September at discounted pricing before reaching full operational scale.
If SpaceX does not meet the GPU delivery targets by September 30, 2026, Google may either terminate the contract promptly or accept reduced GPU availability at a lower cost following a grace period. After this date, either party can exit the agreement with a 90-day notice.
